A new mobile app company needed help with creating a user-friendly look and feel for their new product to be released on both the Google Play and Apple marketplaces for smartphones and tablets. It needed to be easy to navigate and understand while its users were likely to be in a time of high stress, such as to report a vehicle accident to their insurer. Less urgent features needed to be just as easy to use to entice the users to prefer the app over other competitors.
Friendly, color-keyed iconography and interface elements were developed in conjunction with an app development firm who excelled at programming but lacked in design. In the end, the collaboration was highly applauded by the app’s leadership team and lead to a successful application launch.
